"Moving Pictures” is a stand out A-side track with irresistible guitar hooks, strong
vocal melodies and bouncing rhythms. All the components that make Dirty Laces such
an attractive live spectacle. B-Side "Lose Control” sees the band move in a mare
progressive direction while still retaining their raw edge and authenticity ending
the record in an explosive manner. 
Both tracks were produced and mixed by Paul Tipler at Unit 13 Studies, an industry
veteran who has worked with the likes of Elastica and Placebo, and finally mastered
at Parr Street Studies Liverpool. The band will be adding an exciting visual element
to the release with a music video sheet at the historic Salfard Lads Club, as they
wish to follow in the steps of their Manchester heroes.
Prior to this release, Dirty Laces had a strong year on the gig circuit in 2018
finding themselves in prime slots at Kendal Calling, North by Northwich, Sound
City, Wheels and Fins, Tramlines Fringe a Neighbourhood festival. They had multiple
sold out shows in Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield along with a headline shew overseas
in Paris. Dirty Laces have also been given the Bands FC treatment joining the social
media storm with their own crest in collaboration with local Club Chadderton FC.
The band are hitting 2019 with bigger gigs, new music and more sought after festival
slots. Dirty Laces are already collaborating with Pretty Green along with a 5-night
South Coast tour and Manchester headline show in March to promote the release of
"Moving Pictures”.
